Hearthfire Multiple Adoption is a new game mod for The Elder Scroll series which allows you to adopt a child from one of the two families in the game: House Valerian and House Dresal. In earlier games, only the Imperials can adopt kids, while the Reachmen and Wild Elves can only adopt kids as slaves. Now, players can choose which family they prefer, regardless of whether or not it matches their character's race and gender. You can move your family to any of the two available homes in the game, allowing you to interact with all the other players in the game. Hearthfire Multiple Adoption also includes a brand-new system, where your kids will get a house of their own if they have successfully helped you raise them.

Hearthfire Multiple Adoption is modelled after the much beloved Home Rescue mod for The Elder Scrolls Tactics, but with a few differences. For example, instead of being able to only adopt children belonging to one of two houses, Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions allows you to adopt kids of any house, instead of just two. Additionally, instead of being forced to stay in their adopted family's home until they are full grown, children who have successfully been adopted can move into any family home they want, provided that their parent(s) are still alive.
